It's been a long time since I heard his young voice on the phone. We met online last summer. He is a Vietnamese, 21 years old and learning electronic engineering at university in Japan. The classes are taught in only Japanese, so he has to learn Japanese too. In his Japanese class, his essay was checked and drawn the red lines under which he wrote wrongly. He didn't get the meaning of the mistakes or the correct words. So, he needed my help.
The ticket machines at the station in Japan are interesting. When I put the ticket in it face down, I mean, put the black side up, It came out face up, the white side up. It reversed. Then I put it face up, the white side up. It came out face up. Always the ticket comeｓ out face up no matter which side I put. Then I Googled it why it should be needed to reverse each time. I found the explanation which said, ”お客様を喜ばせるためです” What does it mean？
ふつうのオバサンです。よろしくね。 英語で何かするのが好き。読む書く話す聞く見る。人の考えを聞くのが好き。Talking with people all over the world is fun and you can learn something new from them, telling what you know to them as well. That's the reason I can't stop learning English.
